The second album by Sizable. Just as the day flows from Morning to Afternoon, so too do the Sizable albums progress. This collection of songs dispenses with the many cover songs heard on the first album, instead featuring all original compositions by the band.
Some of the songs (Old Plank Road, John Dicky) are brand new compositions created especially for this album. Others (Marilee, Anxious, Hey G-Man) are long-time Sizable favorites, while a few (It's You, Down For The Count) have been hanging around the back catalogs of Sizable members for a while but are new to the band during these recording sessions.
As with the previous album, Sizable wrote, arranged, performed, and produced all of these songs (except I Saw Her Sane which was composed by Tim Lohmann, Mark Benson, and Brad Harris). We recorded the actual tracks in Sizable's home studios over untold hours, with the exception of the drums on Come On Dave, Let's Go! and the hand claps on Anxious. These we recorded at Centro Cellar Studio in Columbia, Missouri, US, with the masterful Wil Reeves at the helm. Wil also mixed and mastered the entire album, for a total of 15 hours spent in the studio through the dark months of April, May, and June.
As always, Sizable is:
Patti Harris: bass, vocals, percussion
Eric Bohle: vocals, mandolin, bouzouki, percussion
Joseph Weidinger: vocals, guitar, dobro, banjo, piano, percussion, programming
Brad Harris: vocals, guitar, drums, percussion, toilet
The album cover is an original work by Joe Schlottach.
